TERRY SANDS (Executive Consultant)
Tessen Sports Services is headed by Terry Sands, providing bespoke event management, consultancy, and services for Rugby clubs and individuals across the UK and Ireland.
Terry is a passionate sports and management professional with over 20 years of experience managing and delivering major local, national and international events - including the UK's Super Sevens Series - providing consultancy and advice from grassroots to corporate level.
Supporting Terry as Co-Directors are two heavyweights of the rugby world, with an outstanding amount of international experience between them.
Mike Friday, a former rugby professional with Wasps and England Sevens, is currently the head coach of the US National Rugby Sevens Men's team. A 20-year rugby career allowed him to grow into a dynamic and positive rugby-focused individual that thrives on a strong sense of responsibility, integrity and trust, allowing Mike to rise as one of the best sevens coaches in the World.
Keith Chapman's career started on the sunny shores of Spain, bringing first-class management and communication skills to Spanish Rugby Union as Deputy Chairman and Team Manager of Sevens and Fifteens for both men and women. In addition, his fluency in French and Spanish has allowed Keith to build opportunities across Europe, cementing strong business and sporting relationships with our leading European partners.
We have 75 years' worth of rugby experience and event knowledge among all our directors. In addition, our top-end management and consultation services offer advice, support and in-depth knowledge to teams and individuals of all levels – amateur and professional – bringing expertise, knowledge, and successful outcomes throughout the rugby world.
